Mine broke. I've broken the light fitting because I keep kicking it - it's right next to the dome of my pole so, meh, was bound to happen sooner or later.
Anyway, I've waffled a bit on the YouTube description, here's the video of today's practise.

Progress!
Wow, not posted anything for months. Oops.
And wow again - people have commented on my blog! Woohoo! Thanks people :)
Well I made good progress in the summer, as can be seen on my YouTube channel.
Then I seem to have suffered a relationship breakup, a new relationship (yay!) and then a winter of doing not a lot and eating out too much. Net result is I got back after xmas a lot weaker and a stone heavier and I've found it so terribly difficult to get back into pole.
I got moved up a class, and all the other girls are at shouldermount level and can air invert effortlessly. I'm way behind... it's taken me a while to stop getting so frustrated with being so 'far behind' - they've been poling longer than me so they are bound to be better and stronger. Anyway....
Today was a brilliant day! And, I hope, the start of a skill increase again. Been feeling so flat about it all. In the autumn I was doing Iguana mounts and stuff and I can't do 'em any more. but today, I got some new moves! Hip hold and Tail split! Woot!
Finally, I also managed to hold a scorpio no handed. Yeah, I know that's fairly basic but it's just one my body hates, and to finally be able to do it without the pain taking over is awesome.
We're working on the cartwheel-mount handspring, and somehow that's getting there too. A fair way off, yet, but I'm getting up and staying up slightly, as opposed to just hopping up and falling down.
And I managed to get into a superman on my own too, first time. Couldn't do it again, mind, but at least I know I have done it.
I've lost the battery charger for my camera so have ordered a new one. Gotta wait for it to come from Hong Kong but then I will be back making video progress, woohoo.
Oh, I'm happy today, makes a very pleasant change, long may it continue!
